destiny, fate, meant to be
This magazine originally started as a university project, but has grown into something deeper that I had the opportunity to explore. Kismet means “destiny or fate” and when I created this project, I was in a space of exploring what this meant to me and how I could apply it to the lifestyle I was and always will be after.
The original intention of this magazine started as just interviewing other surf photographers on what kismet means to them and/or do they even believe in destiny. I have realized that this magazine turned into advice for anyone waiting for the right time to take the leap of faith and chase after your dream. There will never be the right time and there will always be a reason or excuse to not do it, just follow your heart and the rest will come into place.
